Quiet entertainment--what more can a mom ask for!
We have several of these and have yet to be disappointed by them. Endless hours of coloring for the boys without messes or stains. I have found that filing the water pen halfway is best since it can come out a little too quickly and soak the page too much. The colors are great and we love the illustrations as well.

Great for car rides and restaurants!!!
We love the water wow books!! They are perfect for car rides and restaurants!! They are easy to use, just fill the water pen with water and the magic happens! The pen holds a minimal amount of water tho, so if your child manages to unscrew it, it’s not a terribly big mess. The pages dry pretty fast too, which allows the book to be used again and again. Both my 2 year old and 4 year old love them, we have multiple different ones. Also is a “go to” gift for birthdays.

My 2 year old loves these! Although the brushes that come with the water pads don’t work well for children who tend to push down when they draw/color. I had to replace them with a different type/brand after 1 use.

GREAT gift!
These are a favorite of ours for younger kids who want to paint! Great in the car, so so easy to use, and the price is perfect! I will it's usually the same price in-store as Amazon, BUT on Amazon there's a MUCH better selection of different ones to choose from. My daughter LOVES dinosaurs and no store anywhere near us had this one! Can always rely on Amazon to have it! I recommend these to younger kids all the time, and give them as gifts a ton. Parents are always so shocked when they see how cool these are!

The best for travel!
I found these to be a great activity when flying or at a restaurant. My kiddo is particularly fond of the Dinosaurs, but we have at least 3 other water wow pads. He pushes kind of hard on pen so the bristles get messed up, but he doesn't seem to mind. My only complaint is that the pen storage is super bulky. When packing multiples of these, it would be nice if they weren't so bulky.

Wow! Is a perfect name for this! My daughter loves to paint but I don't like cleaning up the mess which is why I tried these. You fill the marker up with water and let your child go to town! Plus the price is phenomenal! Some places sell just one of these for$10 or more! Def recommend! The second picture is one my daughter already used and dried back to like new to use again and again!

Takes awhile to dry but we love them!
My kids love these products! Keeps them busy during church or in doctors office when I'm needing them to be patient and quiet. Our only issue is the pen leaks very quickly and soaks the pages where they take a long time to dry. We have multiple books so it's not a big problem to wait on drying.

I just love these water WOW items from Melissa and Doug. I have a 3 year old son and he likes to color and paint. These are nice because I can give him the water pen and book in places like the car, restaurant, etc and he can paint on his own without assistance. Best of all, I don’t have to worry about him coloring something he shouldn’t be! I thought it was kind of pricey for only 4 pages, but then I found out that it’s reusable!! So it’s totally worth the money. Each page is like a thick board. When the picture gets wet, it changes color to match the completed colored picture. As it dries the color goes away and goes back to the colorless picture. You do not choose colors, the colored picture is already set. The pen is easy enough to use. You unscrew the plastic bottle attached to the brush and fill it with water, screw it back in, squeeze the top of the bottle until the brush feels wet, then give it to your kid to go to town. My only complaint is that over time the brush can get weird. Example, my son kind of smashes the brush into the board and moves it around so like any other paint brush it now permanently holds this new smashed look. Also, I think over time of use, the water in one of his brushes (he has multiple water wow’s) runs too much so there’s a LOT of excess water on the page where I feel the need to blot the page when he’s done.

Mess-free entertainment
These are so great for traveling or at home. My 2 year old loves to paint and color and these are a mess-free option. It also keeps him entertained for a while when we're grocery shopping or out and about. Highly recommend!

Perfect for an older 2 year old
This was perfect for my dinosaur obsessed 2 year old. It keeps her entertained for at least 20 mins or more every time I pull it out for her. I take it to restaurants to let her color while we wait for our food. The sheets do flake some since she presses too hard with the water pen, but that's the only con. Will be purchasing more to add to her collection. I began buying them for her when she was 1.5, but she really started to play with them at 2.5. Would recommend for age 2.5 and older.
